Oh, what a bittersweet story of a loving pet..and special dog..and thank goodness, a happy ending..it had me   for a bit , but I was so glad it ended on a positive note Enjoyed that one very much. Thanks, Lee.  Glad you like "Abandoned."  It's one of my favorites, too.  I like to write stories about animals and have written several.
A magazine in Hungary, "Kalaka," saw the story in Skyline and I gave them permission to publish it.

That is wonderful that it was printed* and I did want to mention how you 'feel' the dogs 'emotions' along the way..you truly 'feel' for him...are rooting for him. Great short story* Lee
