I enjoyed this story and it's "twist' at the end!

Mr. Sullivan, your vignette entitled "The Blizzard" was an impressive
story. The events were melded together skillfully and the ending
flowed up to the reader in a clean, if not envious surprise. I
particularly liked the twins approach in your choice of central
characters. This piece reminds me of Voltaire in its simple design.
Three cheers for those from Iowa! Good job.

Thanks Mary.  Thanks Robert.  "Blizzard" is one of my favorite short shorts.  To be even remotely compared to a giant like Voltaire is flattering.  I lived for a couple of years in the town of Hanover, IL, just across the Mississippi from Iowa.
