Terri shows maturity to her writing from a view-point of a young girl. She balances herself well with sentence lenght and subject developement. And she always connects each sentence to the next without abrupt jumps in tone or style.

This non-fiction story demonstrates the correct use of emotion.
She uses the right mixture to convey her feelings without over
use, and transmits a feeling of real concern for what happened that day! Nice.

Another important point: She wrote the story from her vantage-point, and didn't try to describe the carnage as if she were present, yet she showed us that the lose of life affected her deeply, as seen on television.

A nice, honest tribute to 9/11 from a very talented writer!!
