Nice short and a nice twist at the end. I'm not sure if Reid is poking fun at 'modern educational theories' but this story does shed some light on modern attempts. I always believed that kids should be kids, and not forced into envornments hostile to their ages.

Being creative, learning basic math and reading and writing and drawing and social interaction, are all that young kids can handle.

Let them be kids first, then teenagers, then adults! It works!![quote]

The story is built well(pun intended)However if it were high school students it might have been more believable IMHO but hey what do I know? How many re-writes so far on this story? If you want things published it takes many re-writes in the beginning and then less and less as you gain more experience.

When at a loss for words, wing it.
